Snipora / Android help

A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY.

Android help

Set up your keyboard, organize your clips, and keep your Android library under your control.

Applies to Snipora for iOS, Android, and macOS, and this website.
01

Save & organize clips

  1. Copy the content you want to keep, then open Snipora to save the clipboard.
  2. Or tap + to add a snippet manually or use a supported share-to-Snipora workflow.
  3. Give it a label, put it in a vault, and pin it if you use it often.

There is no in-app clip cap in the current Android app. Available device storage still applies.

02

Enable the Snipora keyboard

  1. Open Snipora’s Settings → Keyboard & Setup or Setup Guide.
  2. Open the device’s keyboard settings and enable Snipora. Paths vary by manufacturer; look for Languages & input or On-screen keyboard → Manage keyboards.
  3. When entering text, use the keyboard selector to switch to Snipora.
  4. Choose a saved text snippet to insert it.

Android may show a keyboard privacy warning when you enable an input method. Review the privacy policy to understand Snipora’s local snippet cache and data practices.

03

Understand clipboard access

Android limits clipboard access based on the OS version, foreground app, and active input method. Do not expect Snipora to continuously collect every background copy. Use the supported app and keyboard saving workflows to keep what you need.

If an image or file does not paste directly into a destination app, use Snipora’s supported copy or share action instead. Saved text insertion is the primary keyboard workflow.

04

Back up, restore & lock

Use import/export for local backups or optional Google Drive backup with the Google account you choose. Snipora uses the app-data permission for its backup files. Export a backup before resetting app data.

Enable biometric app lock in the privacy and security settings if supported by your device. For mobile ad controls, open Ad privacy choices where available or use your device’s advertising settings.

05

Troubleshoot a missing keyboard

Confirm Snipora is enabled in your device’s keyboard settings, then choose it from the input-method selector. Open the main app and save a text clip if the list is empty. Some secure fields require the system keyboard.

Update to the current app version. If the issue remains, prepare a support request with your phone model, Android version, Snipora version, and reproduction steps. Do not include private clips.
