Snipora / iPhone & iPad help

A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY.

iPhone & iPad help

Save the things you need, set up your Snipora keyboard, and understand how clipboard access works on iOS.

Applies to Snipora for iOS, Android, and macOS, and this website.
01

Save your first snippet

  1. Copy the text you want to keep.
  2. Open Snipora and use Save current clipboard, or tap + to add a snippet.
  3. Add a useful label and save. You can also use a supported app’s share sheet to send content into Snipora.
  4. Find it in Home or Search. Create a vault to group related clips.
02

Set up the Snipora keyboard

  1. Open iPhone or iPad Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards → Add New Keyboard.
  2. Select Snipora. Follow Snipora’s in-app Setup Guide for any required Full Access setting.
  3. Open an app where you can type. Press and hold the globe key and select Snipora.
  4. Tap a saved text snippet to insert it. Some secure fields and apps do not allow custom keyboards.

Your keyboard uses locally shared snippet data. iOS’s Full Access warning describes what a keyboard with that permission could access. Learn about Snipora’s actual data handling in the privacy policy.

03

Why a copied item is missing

iOS restricts clipboard access in the background. Snipora does not automatically capture everything copied in other apps. Save the item using Snipora’s foreground, share, or manual workflows.

If iOS asks whether to allow pasting from another app, allow it for the action you requested. If you previously denied it, review Snipora’s permissions in iOS Settings; available controls vary by iOS version.

04

Protect your library

Enable Face ID or Touch ID in Snipora’s privacy and security settings on a supported device. Check what saved content is visible on keyboards and other convenience surfaces before keeping sensitive information.

Optional iCloud sync and Google Drive backup are user-controlled. Use export/import for manual transfer, and keep export files private. Automatic Mac-to-phone sync is not currently available.

05

Keyboard or sync troubleshooting

If the keyboard is empty, open the main Snipora app, save a text clip, and reopen the keyboard. Confirm the keyboard is enabled. Try switching to another keyboard and back. A secure text field may require the standard keyboard.

For iCloud, check that you’re signed into the intended Apple account, iCloud is available, and sync is enabled in Snipora. For Google Drive, check the selected Google account and app-data permission. Export a backup before deleting or reinstalling the app.

If it still does not work, prepare a support request with your device, iOS version, Snipora version, and the steps that caused the problem.
