Snipora / Privacy & data choices

A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY.

Privacy & data choices

Practical controls for your saved clips, optional cloud copies, advertising preferences, and support information.

Applies to Snipora for iOS, Android, and macOS, and this website.
01

Control what gets saved

On Mac, pause clipboard history in the menu bar or turn off automatic saving in Settings. Review the OTP and duplicate settings. On mobile, choose what to save using supported foreground, share, or manual workflows.

Delete clips you no longer need. Disable a mobile keyboard in your system keyboard settings if you do not want saved snippets available there.

02

Delete local content

Delete individual clips through the clip actions, or use the app’s data-management controls to erase clips. Check remaining vaults and imported files. Removing the app’s data or uninstalling generally removes its local library, but system backups and cached or exported copies can remain.

Snipora has no required Snipora account and no server-side clipboard account to delete. We cannot remotely read or erase your device’s vault.

03

Manage cloud copies & exports

Turn off optional sync or backup in Snipora. Disconnect Google Drive where supported. Delete existing backup files through the provider’s account or app-data controls, and review Apple’s iCloud storage controls. Disabling a feature does not itself guarantee deletion of existing remote copies.

Delete user-created exports separately from Files, Finder, cloud drives, shared folders, trash, and backups. Readable export files should be treated as private documents.

04

Change advertising choices

The mobile apps show Settings → Ad privacy choices when Google’s consent service requires it. Use that control to reopen the consent form where available. You can also review operating-system tracking, personalized advertising, and advertising-ID settings.

Mac has no ads. This website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Learn more in the privacy policy.

05

Ask about information sent to support

If you have emailed support and want to request access, correction, or deletion of information you sent, use the contact page. Identify the email address used and describe the request. Do not send your saved vault or encryption key.

Information held by Apple, Google, your email provider, or another destination service must be managed through that provider’s own controls.
